To be honest, we don’t exactly know the minutiae of how our website (and affiliates or advertisers) collects and uses your data, but we’re going to try to explain it as best as we can on this page. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

Information Collection And Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Email Subscription Form

We send emails to the people who sign up for our newsletter/email notifications (if you’re not on the list, and want to be, sign up here).  We only send them if you sign up and you can unsubscribe anytime you want.  There’s always a link at the bottom of every email to do so.

How to Opt Out Of Subscriptions: You may manage or opt out of existing subscriptions by clicking on the subscription tools at the bottom of any subscription e-mail. There are links to “unsubscribe.” You may also clear all functionality cookies through your browser settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser’s Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

Comments

We ask for some basic information (like your name) when you choose to leave a comment here on our website.

When visitors leave comments on this website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
